In December 2023, Paul-Emmanuel and Roel Vanreusel acquire all shares in Beltaste-Vanreusel from Apheon, with whom they had a partnership since 2018. Beltaste was founded in 1953 as a family business by the Vanreusel family. With its “Vanreusel” and “Oma Bobs” brands, the Company has since become a leading producer of frozen snacks for out-of-home, retail, and B2B clients. Headquartered in Hamont-Achel, Belgium, Beltaste has, over the decades, built a leading position in the Belgian and Dutch markets through its operations in Belgium, Hungary and the Netherlands.
After over 5 years of very strong growth in partnership with Apheon, Paul-Emmanuel and Roel Vanreusel took the helm from Apheon and will continue to drive Beltaste’s growth over the long- term. Management of Beltaste remains fully committed to this new stage of Beltaste’s journey and will remain onboard.
Kumulus Partners acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Paul-Emmanuel and Roel in this transaction. Kumulus led the negotiations with Apheon, while at the same time setting up the financing structure of the transaction, ensuring full control for the Vanreusels post-closing.
