Analyst / Associate

Kumulus Partners is a corporate finance advisory firm founded in 2018, aimed at providing independent advice to family-owned businesses, private equity funds and corporates, with a focus on mid-market M&A transactions, debt advisory and fund raising: in the past 12 months we have closed a multitude of transactions such as the sale of Incendin, Vincent Logistics, Sipwell, Trafuco, Summa, TrueGEN, Smartschool, VDMI, …, the acquisition of Ceres, Baobab and Hedelab and the capital raising for Dentius (see our references for recent examples). Our offices are located in Diegem.

We are looking to reinforce our team with an additional Analyst or Associate. You will work on a variety of corporate finance transactions for a broad range of companies. As part of a small dynamic team, you will immediately work closely with senior professionals on live deals, with a steep learning curve and ever-increasing responsibility.

What will you do?

Create financial models such as business plans and valuations
Carry out in-depth analyses of companies, industries and markets
Work on presentations and memoranda for clients, advisers and other third parties
Actively manage client and third-party interaction and project management to ensure a seamless deal execution
Contribute to the team’s efforts in getting new mandates by preparing tailored pitches and participating in commercial presentations towards potential clients
Assist in the coaching of a team of interns

Your profile

You have an academic background (a master’s degree in (applied) economics, business engineering, civil engineering or law with an additional finance degree)
You are a Microsoft Office wizard
You believe M&A transactions and corporate finance in general are exciting
You like to get things done, and done right, with a high commitment towards our clients
You have 2-3 years professional experience in an analytical function within the financial sector, consultancy or audit; previous experience in corporate finance or transaction services is a strong advantage
You have excellent communication skills, in Dutch, English and French
You have a keen sense of humour
