In June 2025, European Dental Group through its Belgian subsidiary Mond successfully acquired Benedenti Groep, a leading dental service organisation comprising 9 dental practices. This transaction creates a powerful new entity in oral healthcare in Belgium, expanding to 26 practices, supported by 3 in-house dental labs and almost 200 dental chairs.
Founded in 1985 by Rik Claes and Griet Luyten as a private dental practice, Benedenti Groep had grown into a multidisciplinary dental service organisation. As Rik and Griet had both retired, they were looking to join a larger group in order to allow the company and its employees to thrive in the long term.
