Kanigen is a pioneer in electroless nickel plating of high-end, complex metal components. From its plants in Genk (Belgium) and Bonneville (France), the group provides solutions to clients in end-markets such as semiconductors, automotive (including e-mobility), hydrogen, and various industry applications.
With the same focus on superior quality and service, the combination of MVT and Kanigen creates the European market leader in high-end electroless nickel plating. For the Jeurissen family (owner of MVT) this was a warm welcome to Kanigen as the grandfather of CEO Thomas Jeurissen was Kanigen’s very first employee in 1959.
Kumulus Partners advised Jean-Marie della Faille in this transaction, managing the full sell-side process to ascertain the interest of multiple parties, organizing due diligence and negotiating the deal terms.
