In our first 100% Dutch deal, Kumulus Partners assisted Ortessa is realising a number of acquisitions with ultimately the acquisition of Langezaal and simultaneously obtaining long-term financing from Kartesia.
Initiated by Rob Van Gansewinkel, Ortessa has grown into a group with over €120 million in revenues specialized in waste collection, processing and management. It covers the entire waste value chain and is active across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Driven by the van Gansewinkel family and with the backing of Kartesia, Ortessa is set to continue its consolidation role in the sector, contributing to the acceleration towards a circular economy.
Kumulus assisted the management team of Ortessa in the complex exercise of aligning the buyside processes with the funding trajectory.
