In June 2024, Strada Partners, together with the management of Tresco and Think2Act invested in Tresco Engineering, a software player for inland navigation. This partnership will allow Tresco to further scale their product and business with the goal to becoming an all-in technology provider for inland waterway transport. The management team, led by Jo Jacobs and Yves Hacha, remains fully committed and significantly reinvests in the company alongside Think2Act.
Founded in 1999, Tresco is the market leader in inland navigation software in Europe. Offering a wide range of products and services, including TrescoTackPilot an autonomous navigational software tool, allowing skippers to automatically guide their ships along preset SmartTracks. Combined with Navigis River, the Tresco navigation system, these products form the technological backbone of the ships’ bridge, helping skippers to guide their vessels.
