Kumulus Partners is a corporate finance advisory firm founded in 2018, aimed at providing independent advice to family-owned businesses, private equity funds and corporates, with a focus on mid-market M&A transactions, debt advisory and fund raising. Since Kumulus was founded, we have closed over 70 transactions, which makes us one of the most active M&A advisers in our segment.

We are currently looking for an Analyst to reinforce our team. You will work on a variety of corporate finance transactions for a broad range of companies. As part of a dynamic team, you will immediately work closely with senior professionals on live deals, with a steep learning curve and ever-increasing responsibility.

What will you do?

Create financial models such as business plans and valuations
Carry out in-depth analyses of companies, industries and markets
Prepare presentations and memoranda for clients, advisers and other third parties
Actively manage client and third-party interaction and project management to ensure a seamless execution
Contribute to the team’s efforts in getting new mandates by preparing tailored pitches and participating in commercial presentations towards potential clients

Your profile

You have an academic background (a master’s degree in (applied) economics, business engineering, civil engineering or law with an additional finance degree)
You are a wizard with Microsoft Office
You believe mergers & acquisitions are exciting
You like to get things done, and done right, with a high commitment towards our clients; you always put our clients’ interests first
You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
You are a team player
You have 1-3 years of experience in the financial sector or strategic consultancy; previous experience in Investment Banking is a strong advantage
You have excellent communication skills, in Dutch, English and French
You have a keen sense of humor
