Intern (starting in September 2026 or later)

Kumulus Partners is a corporate finance advisory firm founded in 2018, aimed at providing independent advice to family-owned businesses, private equity funds and corporates, with a focus on mid-market M&A transactions, debt advisory and fund raising: in the past 12 months we have closed a multitude of transactions such as the acquisition of APF Autoparts by Naxicap Partners, the sale of Benedenti to European Dental Group, the acquisition of Itineris by Cobepa or the sale of RBL Media to Ströer (see our references for recent examples). Our offices are located in Diegem.

We are looking for an Intern to reinforce our team during a 3- to 5-month internship, starting in September 2026 or later.

As part of a small dynamic team, you will immediately work closely with senior professionals providing assistance on live deals and prospection efforts, with a steep learning curve.

What will you do?

Create financial models such as business plans and valuations
Carry out in-depth analyses of companies, industries and markets
Work on presentations and memoranda for clients, advisers and other third parties
Update internal databases

Your profile

You are looking for a first or additional experience in corporate finance
You have just graduated or are currently in your final year of your master’s degree in (applied) economics, business engineering, civil engineering, law or any additional postgraduate degree
You are a wizard with Microsoft Office
You believe merger & acquisition transactions are exciting
You like to get things done, and done right
You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
You like to be part of a small, focused team
