Vice President

Kumulus Partners is a corporate finance advisory firm founded in 2018, aimed at providing independent advice to family-owned businesses, private equity funds and corporates, with a focus on mid-market M&A transactions, debt advisory and fund raising. Since Kumulus was founded, we have closed around 50 transactions, which makes us one of the most active M&A advisers in our segment. Our offices are located in Diegem.

We are looking to reinforce our team with a Vice President. You will work on a variety of corporate finance transactions for a broad range of companies. As part of a small dynamic team, you will immediately work closely with senior professionals on live deals and coach the team of analysts and associates.

What will you do?

Take on responsibility as deal captain in M&A mandates, actively managing client and third-party interactions, as well as more general project management to ensure a seamless deal execution
Coach the associates, analysts and interns on mandates to provide support for their input (such as business plans and valuations, presentations and information memoranda)
Make sure the key messages in marketing materials, vendor due diligence reports and external contacts are streamlined to obtain an optimal outcome of the M&A process
Contribute to the team’s efforts in getting new mandates by commercial initiatives, preparing tailored pitches and participating in commercial presentations towards potential clients

Your profile

You have an academic background (a master’s degree in (applied) economics, business engineering, civil engineering or law with an additional finance degree)
You have minimum 5 years professional experience in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance with a focus on M&A
You have great people management skills which allows you to bring out the best in people in a high-pressure environment
You like to get things done, and done right, with a high commitment towards our clients; you always put our clients’ interests first
You have excellent communication skills, in Dutch, English and French
You are a team player
You have a keen sense of humour
